Cold Green Tea Latte
This Cold Green Tea Latte combines the typical herbal notes of green tea latte with the botanical and honey kick from Green15®. Here’s the preparation and even though there’s a small amount of alcohol: enjoy the Cold Green Tea Latte creation responsibly!
Ingredients:
- 30 ml Green15®
- 1 teaspoon green tea powder (matcha or powdered green tea)
- 1 tablespoon hot water
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- Ice cubes
- Sweetener of choice (optional)
- Chasen (bamboo matcha whisk)
Instructions:
Prepare the Green Tea first:
- In a bowl, add the green tea powder.
- Pour the hot water over the green tea powder.
- Whisk with the chasen in a "W" or "M" motion until the green tea is fully dissolved and a frothy layer forms.
Sweeten (Optional):
If you prefer sweetness, add your desired sweetener to the green tea mixture and whisk again.
Assemble the Cold Green Tea Latte:
- Fill a glass with ice cubes.
- Steam or Froth the Milk:
- Heat the milk until warm but not boiling.
- Froth the milk using a frother or by shaking it vigorously in a closed container.
Add Frothed Milk:
- Pour the frothed milk over the ice in the glass.
- Pour the Green Tea Over Milk:
- Pour the prepared green tea over the frothed milk.
- Final Touch:
- Optionally, garnish with a sprinkle of green tea powder on top.
Presentation:
- Place the glass of cold green tea latte on a clean, white background.
